Default I have computer illiterate issues for ya, Eph

One evening a young mother and her 8 yr old son was going to play WoW together . She on her desktop and he on her laptop. The child logged on first and started his toon running around Stormwind like he normally did while waiting on his mother. When out of the blue, the son exclaimed, “Mom, are you on my account?”

“Why no, son! I can’t log onto your account when you are on your account.” She educated him so patiently.

A few minutes later, her son exclaimed, (a bit louder than before) “MOM, why are you on my account? Quit controlling my character.”

The mother, who was trying to finish scanning her emails so she could play WoW, in a firmer tone replied, “SON, I am NOT controlling your character!! Now give me a few minutes more and I will play WoW with you.”

A few more minutes later, her son (getting really angry now) “MOM, MOM, MOOOOMMMMM, SOMEONE is on my account, someone is controlling my character.. MOM. Come here and LOOK”

Now this young mother (who worked really, really hard at her job today, who just finished cooking supper, and cleaning the kitchen, who did a load of laundry while supervising her son’s homework and who just wanted a few minutes to catch up on her emails) jumped up from her desk and went to her son and looked at his account on her laptop screen. …NOTHING, the character did not move one inch while she watched. “Son, there is NO ONE controlling your character, there is NO ONE on your account, NOW PLEASE, BABY. .Give your MOM a few more minutes, OK?”

Her son looked at her and said, “ Mom, you never believe me.” Then he picked the laptop up and placed it on his mother’s desk, account still active on the screen and stormed out of the room.

His mother sat down at her desk stunned at his announcement . After a moment, she turned back to her computer and proceeded to check her Facebook and email accounts. As she moused around her screen she noticed that her son’s character WAS moving. So panicking, she went to close her laptop and that’s when she noticed that her son was using the wireless mouse that she herself uses for her laptop. As she removed the USB device, she realized that her son was right. She had been controlling his character, after all. For she had just purchased a wireless mouse for her desktop the day before and her mouse actions were controlling his.

Needless to say, the guilt of her action’s set in. She turned off her computer and went to him to apologize. Being a gracious 8 yr that he is, I was absolved of all wrong-doing by playing 2 hours of Battleship, Ker-plunk and Connect 4, purchasing 2 new Bakugans battle balls, 6 blister packs of Pokeman cards and a NEW DS game.

So that’s computer illiterate for ya… <3

If this is gracious forgiving I'd hate to see what it's like when you have to suck up to him. Holy shit, I wish I'd had you for a mom.
